Event Manager

About The Role

London Stadium are looking for an Event Manager to join the team and support the Head of Operations with a range of event and commercial operations, including major events, filming and other operational requirements.  This will also include assisting as part of a venue team with the yearly transition of the stadium for our summer event programme as well as supporting our community track team and external park team on event operations in our adjoining spaces. You will bring a strong background in venue events management with knowledge and experience in contract management, forecasting, event management planning and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

The role will involve liaising with event and filming organisers’ project managers; production managers; and health and safety teams, to ensure the efficient planning and delivery of venue events.  This includes the full programme, from initiation through to post event reporting and debriefing. The role also requires direct experience of working with safety plans, risk assessments and method statements.

The ideal candidate will have a positive, proactive attitude with a creative flair to problem solving whilst working to changing timelines and priorities. You will work with autonomy on various projects and demonstrate excellent time management skills.
